The council approved an amendment to award home field advantage in the first round of the Class 6A football playoffs to the team with the higher district finish and not higher seed. The long expected proposal for a pitch count limit in high school baseball was approved by the council as well. The council also placed the creation of a split conference format for Class 5A football on a referendum ballot.
