What coach Clifton McNeely said: He dominated both ends of the floor against very good competition, and against some great individual competition as well. The sophomore midfielder supplied five goals and three assists at the Katy Showcase, leading the Falcons to wins over Terry (2-0), Shadow Creek (6-3) and San Antonio Churchill (3-1). The senior won his third straight shot put title at the Texas A&M High School Classic with a meet-record throw of 72 feet, 2½ inches. The senior guard scored 16 points in a win over Elkins and 36 in an 82-80 victory over Ball. The Tulane signee had 12 points in a 61-26 win over Alvin and 20 points in an 81-39 win over Dickinson for the Houston area's top-ranked team last week. The junior averaged 21 points and 12.5 rebounds in wins over Austin and Northside last week.
